Is The Suspended Denkyira-Boase Dce Still Receiving Salary?

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Upper Denkyira West in the Central Region has been suspended over his unguarded and reckless comments, he made after the unfortunate and gruesome murder of Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama.

Typical of politicians, who will have us look the other, whilst they do otherwise, we will like to find out, if the suspended DCE, Daniel Appianin, is receiving salary.

We are concern because, unlike all well-meaning Ghanaians, who were shocked and traumatized by the barbaric behavior of the people of Denkyira Boase, the DCE was all over the media, justifying and rationalizing the action of his people.

Such a man does not deserve any penny from the state. Whatever property of the state that is in his possession, including car, must be taken away from him.

According to the Local Government and Rural Development Minister, Hajia Alima Mahama, “In the interim, he is to hand over his duties to the Deputy Regional Minister [Thomas Agyei Baffour]. Therefore, for now, he has been suspended,”

As a people, who are resolved in getting to the bottom of this gruesome murder, we do not want him to hand over only his duties, but he should be far away from anything that belongs to us.

Captain Mahama’s lynching, is a wakeup call and a sacrifice to ensure that, never again should an innocent Ghanaian or foreigner, be subjected to such inhumane and cruel treatment, no matter the crime.

The justice Ghanaians seek, is not only for the family of Captain Mahama, but for all our kinsmen, who also fell under the same cruel circumstance.

Ghanaians are noted for their hospitality and fellow feeling, since when did we go from caring for each other to taken away life, without blinking an eye.

Our compassion is what makes us different, our empathy is the reason why, we are accepted everywhere we find ourselves, if we have lost all these attributes, it is because our Christian and Muslim leaders, have all failed us.
