Ghanaian artiste Tic, formerly known as Tic Tac, has told Citi FM’s Jessica Opare Saforo that even though he is not on good terms with Shatta Wale, he would not mind saying ‘hello’ to him anytime they meet.
He said this when Jessica asked him on the Traffic Avenue on Friday whether Shatta Wale was his friend.
“I thought we used to be friends but now we are no longer friends,” he said.
When asked if he would go passed Shatta if he met him on the street, he said “no, I’ll just say hello.”
Shatta Wale and Tic have been at loggerheads over comments Shatta Wale made about some old artistes.
According to Shatta Wale, Tic and some of his contemporaries were poor because they did not manage their stardom and resources well.
This angered Tic who also came out to fire back at the dance hall king.
In a related development, Tic walked out of an interview with GH One television when Shatta Wale’s video was shown while he was being interviewed.
“I did not come here to promote Shatta Wale,” he said and left the studio.
Tic who claims the change of his name is part of his re-branding process has recently released a single titled ‘Pene Ma Me’ which features Kidi.
