The Brong Ahafo regional Minister, Lawyer Kwaku Asomah Cheremeh, has disclosed his intentions to embark on visits to all the traditional areas within his jurisdiction, to liaise with the chiefs and the people.
According to him, such visits, will enable him acquaints himself with the chiefs and their communities.
Asomah Cheremeh, said this in a speech read on behalf of the President, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo on the occasion of the 60th Independence Anniversary celebration, observed across the country.
He said, immediately he assumed office as a regional minister, he paid a courtesy visits to the Omanhene of Bechem traditional area, Omanhene of Duayaw Nkwanta traditional area and the Omanhene of sunyani traditional area to present himself to them and seek their blessings as the traditional leaders and embodiment of custom.
Noting that, traditional leaders, deserve a great deal of commendation for their unflinching support, adding, it is incumbent upon him to use this holistic occasion to extend a big thank you to them.
Lawyer Asomah Cheremeh, appealed to all stakeholders in both private and public sector, to support his administration pursue important interventions to improve the quality of lives of the people in the region.
