The Youth of Hodzo, Kpenoe and Takla, on Wednesday morning, took to the streets of Ho in protest of bad nature of their roads.
Speaking with globalfmonline.com, residents of these communities said, they were fed up with the bad nature of roads from Ho – Hodzo, through its surrounding areas.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ho Central, Fafa Adinyira, who received the petition on behalf of the President, assured them that their grievances would be forwarded to the President for immediate action.
She, however, assured the residents that their roads, would be fixed in due course, “I want to reiterate that the roads will be fixed soon, this is not an empty promise but government will deliver on the promise made to you to fixed these roads in the three communities, “ Fafa added.
She said, “No matter how clean and presentable you are before setting off on our road you become brown and dirty due to the unbearable dust you would be engulfed inside the health implications”
Part of the petition read, “We the indigents of Hokpeta also deserve to benefit from the national cake and not to be availing ourselves to hear “the good gospel of promise” that do not materialize.
We want to feel and actually experience the “Changing Lives transforming Ghana” in the better Ghana Agenda.
