The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has blamed GRIDCO for its inability to prepare a timetable for the current load shedding exercise going on across the country.
It said GRIDCO has been inconsistent in the supply of power to the Corporation, hence the difficulty in preparing the timetable.
Meanwhile, questions are being asked as to why the exercise appears to be in total secrecy with they not knowing when their light will be put off.
In the past, consumers are notified by way of adverts in the dailies as to when their lights will be off.
The lights, have been going off for a while now, over three months with consumers taken for granted.
But the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of ECG, William Boateng, yesterday, told the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) that the load shedding programme which begun at the beginning of this year, has not been called off.
He said, power rationing was only relaxed because of improvement in distribution, due to sustained gas flow from the West Africa Gas Pipeline.
