Dalex Finance and leasing company, is a ‘specialized Deposit-Taking financial institution that is licensed and regulated by the Bank of Ghana (BoG0, and had been operational for the Past Thirteen years.
Dalex, which accepts investments from the public and provides loans primarily to government workers, brought Kumasi to a standstill with it annual sales conference held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
The event served the purpose of bringing together over 2000 sales executive (Dalex Paddies) across the nation to have fun, exchange ideas and reward the best performing “Dalex Paddies”.
The event was crowned with the eight top performing sales agents known as ‘Dalex Paddies’ rewarded with a one-week all expenses paid trip to Dubai.
Speaking at the event the CEO, Mr Kenneth Thompson, lauded the “Dalex Paddies and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to providing secure, speedy and convenient financial services to the rural and Peri-urban areas of Ghana.
Explaining the rationale for the conference and award scheme, the CEO of the Company said, “There is a direct correlation between employee recognition and performance; that is why we encourage and generously reward excellence.
“This is the fourth time we are rewarding our staff with spectacular prizes and it gives us pleasure that for many of our staff coming from rural and peri-urban areas; we provide them this country. It is a culture at Dalex, and we will continue to expose innovative means of incentivizing our workforce”, he added.
The First four lucky winners, were drawn from the Upper East, Upper West, Brong Ahafo, Ashanti and Northern Regions.
The Other four were from the Volta, Eastern, Western, Greater Accra and Central Regions and also unveiled and similarly honored at the two-day southern sector sales conference held in Accra over the weekend.
Over fifty other employees, who distinguished themselves in their respective roles were presented with cash and other prizes, including television sets, laptops and high – end mobile Phones, as rewards for their hard work.
