Sometimes, the limelight may prove to be just too much for celebrities. All the relatively easy money being thrown in front of them has a way of blinding them to think that they could afford all the luxuries in life. They seem to have followed the witty, yet not so wise words of George Best, the Northern Irish football player of Manchester United when he said that he spent “90 percent of money on good times, women and Irish whiskey; the rest, I waste.” Or was baseball pitcher Tug McGraw who said it?
Regardless of who that quote originated from, it just shows that some people have no concept of saving for a rainy day. These stars are prime examples of that. Here is a list of the top 10 celebrities that went from rich to broke in 2013.
