Injured Black Stars defender Isaac Vorsah believes the current crop of players in the national team are primed for success and therefore has no doubts about the team’s ability to beat Zambia on Friday.
The Red Bull Salzburg player has been out of action since May, after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and collateral ligament during an Austrian Cup semi final game. He missed Ghana’s double header World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho respectively
“I have every confidence in this team and I am sure all the players called up for this game know how important this game is to them and for all Ghanaians as we seek to make it a third World Cup in a row. The coach has named a formidable squad that will make all of us proud. I will support them with my prayers and I will urge all Ghanaians to do same as we seek to overcome the Zambians come Friday”.
Vorsah is currently in the final stages of recovery and is hopeful of playing a part in the final qualification games of the team if they make it through.
