Breast Care International (BCI) Ghana, a leading and vibrant health NGO, has once again declared the winner of the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR’s) Quality Achievement Awards 2015 in the Platinum Category.
The Award ceremony took place in London, UK, is in recognition of BCI’s out standing commitment, support and efforts to endorse and improve achievements in Quality Management.
Mr. Mario Vanis, the Executive Director of ESQR, who presented the Award and Citation to Dr (Mrs) Beatrice Wiafe Addai, on behalf of BCI, commended the NGO, for its achievements in Quality Management.
Dr. Beatrice Wiafe is the Founder and President of BCI, Ghana and also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Peace and Love Hospitals in Accra and Kumasi, a leading breast cancer facilities in Ghana.
BCI and Peace and Love Hospitals promote awareness on Breast Cancer among women in Ghana, including Free Screening Exercise, Diagnosis, Counseling Treatment, Rehabilitation and Research.
Since 2010, the BCI has received many awards including International Star for Quality (ISAQ) 2010 and 2011 Award for Quality in the Gold and Platinum categories Award in Geneva Switzerland and France respectively.
Dr. (Mrs) Beatrice Wiafe Addai who is also a Millennium Development Ambassador (MDA), for Education, a Council Member of African Organization Research Treatment In Cancer (AORTIC) among others, stood before the International Community present sharing the achievement of Breast Care International (BCI), as well as proposals for the future of their organization clearly proving to be one of those leaders around the globe that, instead of yielding hands down to the current global financial situation, spends every day excelling in quality, creating a cutting edge of competition that will propel the NGO into the future.
