As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Bank of Africa last Saturday, embarked on a sanitation and clean-up exercise at the Mamobi General Hospital.

The exercise, which was a collaboration between the bank’s Mamobi and Accra New Town branches saw the painting of the Out Patient Department (OPD), the cleaning of the facility as well as donation of cleaning equipment, detergents and toiletries to the hospital.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, the Chief Environmental Health Officer, Miss Catherine Aboagye, expressed gratitude to the bank for this immense support and added that, the donation was timely. “We count it as a privilege to be beneficiaries of such a thoughtful gesture from you,” she said.

She appealed passionately to other institutions to come on board to help maintain the facility for the health needs of the society.
