The Asamoah Gyan and Adebayor foundations, in collaboration with Zoomlion Ghana Limited, the leading name in waste management in Ghana, on June 21, 2015, organized a massive clean-up at Pampaso in the heart of the Ashanti Region.
Asamoah Gyan and Adebayor, together with the other stars participated in the exercise and called on the general public to support Zoomlion Ghana Limited in their quest of keeping Ghana clean, green and healthy.
The captain of the Black Stars, Mr Gyan, also stated that sanitation was key and also everyone’s business, therefore, we should not neglect our surroundings, he added.
D.J lil Wayne Nkansah, who was one of the stars present, described the collaboration as a very fruitful one and thanked Zoomlion for the massive work they are doing.
Additionally, he said, if residents changed their attitude, it would go a long way to keep Ghana clean.
Mr. Robert Coleman, the Communications Manager of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, also commended the Adebayor and the Asamoah Gyan foundations for using their foundations to champion the waste management campaign.
He also added that, to win the fight against filth, the Assemblies and the waste management companies, cannot achieve much, without the support of the people in the various communities.
Other stars who participated in the clean-up exercise included; Jonathan Mensah, Kwaku Manu, Mr. Ibu, Fanny Face, Rockstone, Wayosi, Lacky Mensah, Egya Koo and Kwame Djokoto, among others.
