“And he wept”

The welfare department of the police administration in recent months, has been visiting police officers, who are suffering from diseases and unable to work.

In one of such visits last week, it was a nightmare for the Director General in charge of welfare, COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, when he visited Sgt Richard Owusu.

Sgt Owusu, is reported to be battling with kidney disease for some time now.

The visit was timely, as Sgt Owusu, was very grateful to the police administration for remembering him in this time of difficulty.

In expressing his gratefulness, he could not stand the emotional trauma and wept.

COP Dampare, therefore, assured him of the police administration’s support.
