From NPP Girls In Hamburg
The much-touted European trip by the presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, to raise funds for his 2016 presidential election, has turned out to be a globe-trotting adventure with well endowed women on the street of Hamburg, Germany.
The Herald, has spotted a photograph of the twice defeated presidential hopeful, almost being caressed by three Germany-based Ghanaian women, wearing NPP T-shirts, giving a breasts and buttocks rest to the man, who is lacing his boots to oust President John Mahama for the second time.
While, one of them had her big breasts touching the back of Nana Addo’s neatly shaved head, the other one, had her buttocks resting on his shoulders, almost pushing him out of his seat in the full glare of passersby.
The picture raises questions about the quality of Nana Addo’s handlers, especially his Press Secretary, Eugene Arhin.
But judging from the picture, the 71-year old presidential aspirant, appeared to be enjoying the way and manner the young ladies, were falling all over him to the surprise of a German national who stood not far from the spectacle.
The name of one of the girls was given as, Ivory Ama Stone Afriyie.
The man, who served very important portfolios, including the Minister for Foreign Affairs in the erstwhile John Agyekum Kufuor’s government, is seen in the picture sitting in a chair wearing a black winter coat with a muffler around his neck, giggling and wearing his trademark round lens.
The controversial picture, which has since gone viral, has generated a debate on many social media platforms, with one Ghanaian blogger based in the United States of America (USA), Norbert Bennett, arguing the picture was Photoshop to mock the NPP presidential candidate.
Interestingly, however, one of the ladies in the picture, Ivory Ama Stone Afriyie, defended the picture as genuine, saying it was real. According to her, she and the other ladies in the picture took it in Hamburg with Nana Addo.
To prove how authentic the picture is, Ms. Afriyie mentioned, one Kess Ampadu-Minta, as one of the women captured in the photograph.
“Pls who is this Norbert Bennett guy…..seems like I can’t comment on his wall… do tell him that I dont do fake pictures!!! Hamburg was live and real! Aaah aunty Kess Ampadu-minta, they say our picture with Nana is fake ooo eeii 3din ooo”, she posted.
Few weeks ago, The Herald reported that Nana Addo was going to storm Chancellor Angela Merkel’s country, Germany, ostensibly to beg for some cash to support his 2016 election campaign.
According to The Herald’s information, reserving a seat for an individual or a group of people on the high table with the 71-year old comes at a cost meaning one is paying to catch Nana Addo’s eyes. But, the party executives argued it was a privileged to sit next to their party leader, especially so when they are organizing the programme to raise funds.
Indeed, the statement said funds raised would be sent to the party in Ghana to support Nana Addo’s third time attempt at the presidency.
Interestingly, all National Executives including General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong and National Chairman Paul Afoko, have been missing from the trip.
From Germany, Nana Addo this paper has learnt will move to The Netherlands on May 23, and while there, Nana Akufo-Addo, will pay a working visit to the Regional Education Centre in Amsterdam, where he will see at first hand the operations of the Dutch technical and vocational school system, and also address NPP town hall meetings.
In Belgium, he will deliver the commencement address at the graduation ceremony of the prestigious Centre Européen de Recherches Internationales et Stratégiques (CERIS) on “Ghana: Present Challenges and Future prospects”.
In France, Nana Akufo-Addo, will pay a site visit to KUHN group, one of the world’s leading suppliers of specialized agricultural machinery, meet Ghanaian students and executives of NPP, before departing to his final destination of the tour, Parma -Italy, where he will take part in the NPP’s quadrennial International Conference, which brings together all NPP overseas branches to deliberate on the future of the Party.
