One of the lead enterprising presenters in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kwame Adinkra has joined Atinka Fm, an Accra based radio station; that belongs to the multimedia platform owned by Samuel Tobin, the Chief Executive Officer of Tobinko Pharmaceuticals limited.
According to the station, Kwame Adinkra, brings on board his vast knowledge and experience in interviewing and his nose for news in radio presetation to the station.
Mr Adinkra, is also credited to have interviewed the sitting President, John Dramani Mahama, when he was with Angel Fm, a Kumasi based radio station in the early part of this year.
Speaking at the launch of the station in Accra, Mr Albert Dwumfour, a member of the board of Directors of Jam Media Consult and in Charge of Operations at Atinka Fm said, the radio stationwas a rebrand of an existing radio station called Sena radio in the Ashaiman municipality of the Greater Accra Region, following a fire
He said all the necessary regulatory approvals for the relocation of the studio to Accra has been obtained from the National Communication Authority (NCA) to continue to operate on the 104.7 frequency.
He explained that even though the station has been relocated to Accra it does not hope to severe its relations with the Ashaiman community.
He said the station has decided to retain a marketing office in the community for walk-in advertisements.
He noted that the station intends to have its programmes driven by compassion, empathy and care for the needy in the society.
He stressed that the objective of the station is to inform, entertain and educate its target audience in a creative and in an engaging manner that attracts attention.
He said the target audience of the station is every Ghanaian as it will be offering ninety nine percent of its programmes in Twi.
He noted that the station would provide programming content that is diverse to reflect its target audience in a balanced way.
